A catch phrase these days is "redefining oneself". Buzzword addicts are hooked on "innovation". Businesses tantalize followers with their breakthrough thinking and revolutionary products. While the world economies race toward the next best thing, some of us can feel overwhelmed, overrun, outdone and burned out. So how can we rekindle the fire? Who really wants to retire. Admit they are ready to expire. Kick back and watch the tire around your middle expand til its hanging over your belt like over-yeasted bread dough spilling over the bowl. Let's get it together. Ambition is just wishing put into action. Why stop now. Collect yourself and your resources and get on with it.
These are my recent and persistent musings. They are products of my work minded conscience cajoling me since leaving the workforce of some thirty years. Only a month has passed, but I sense that a year could pass as quickly. I look seaward again for inspiration, hopefully not procrastination. And so another voyage begins.
